Portraits are also the best. I love, love, love candids, but there's also something unique and special in looking back at a photo and seeing everyone eyes- everyone smiles- arms around each other- and looking straight on at my camera.

It's a life moment to be captured.

It's the Christmas cards- the wall hangings- the framers.

As we run through a session together, I will make sure the time is right to quickly say "ok lets do one nice family photo" and by now your kids have been running around having fun and 100% of the time (10 years and I have yet to be able to nail it) we will get the shot. I won't make you pose again and again, I will get the cutest shot quickly and move on to another idea.

We will do this maybe 4-5 times throughout your time with me and you should have a few good family photo portrait options to choose from.

Each session, I will also get 1-3 nice portraits of each child by themselves, the children together, the family shot and anything else requested by my clients.

Want to bring your dog? Do it! We will most likely keep your sweet pup in the car for the beginning of the session- however I will let the last 5 minutes be puppy time- and we can make sure we also get some cute photos with your canine family member(s).
